nuxbe Companion Privacy Policy

nuxbe Companion is a browser extension that shows and controls the work time, tasks, tickets and notifications of your own Nuxbe (FluxErp) instance from your browser toolbar.
No data reaches us
The extension communicates only with the instance whose address you enter yourself in its settings. It sends no data to Team Nifty GmbH or to any third party, uses no analytics or tracking, and sells no data.
What is stored locally
In your browser's storage (chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
- your instance address
- an API access token issued by your instance when you sign in
- your preferences: idle thresholds for auto-pause and auto-stop, dark mode, which popup sections are visible
Your password is never stored. It is used once, at sign-in, to obtain the token from your instance, and is then discarded.
How the data is used
Address and token are sent only to your configured instance, solely to read and update your own work times, tasks, tickets and notifications.
Idle detection, for the optional auto-pause and auto-stop, reads the browser-reported state locally: active, idle or locked. It does not record what you do, and this information is never transmitted anywhere.
Permissions
- Access to your instance's domain: requested at sign-in, and only for that single domain.
- Storage: local storage of address, token and preferences.
- Idle: for the optional automation.
- Alarms: periodic refresh of the status.
- Notifications: telling you when tracking was paused or stopped automatically.
Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. You can remove it by signing out in the extension's settings, which clears the token, or by removing the extension, which clears everything it stored. We retain no data from the extension, because none is transmitted to us.
