A phone, not a cloud

Nuxfon is a SIP app that registers with the phone system you point it at. Nuxfon is not a phone system itself: without one, the app does not work. No account with us, no server of ours between your calls.

What makes Nuxfon different

Your phone system

FreePBX, Asterisk, FRITZ!Box or a provider of your choice. Nuxfon speaks SIP over UDP, TCP, TLS and WebSocket, and finds the right transport by itself. An existing phone system is a prerequisite, Nuxfon does not bring one.

No account

You sign up nowhere. Credentials, call history and contacts stay on the device, the password in the keychain.

Rings while closed

With a small wake-up service on your phone system, the phone rings even when the app is not open. Without that service, Nuxfon only rings while the app is running.

Privacy

What stays on the device, what leaves it and where it goes. In full, with no analytics in between.
